While not a true scientific classification, the three races that represent the majority of the worlds population are referred to as the Imperial Races. Named in homage to the tendencies of the dominant historical nations of each race, imperialism is not an actual trait inherent in any of them. Though each share common ancestors, it is widely believed that it is more circumstance and timing that gave rise to their prominence over any genetic destinies. Humans, vegetians, and elves all share common ancestors, but diverge long before their civilizations truly started. Closer related, humans and vegetians still remain separate species as well, covering separate landmasses before the first villages started popping up. While numerically dominant, the Imperial Races are of equivalent capabilities as any other. Had the world developed in a different way, perhaps this list would have looked very different.
