Carshire
Carshire is a decent sized village that borders the Syrima forest. It is quite a friendly town and is often a resting place for traveling merchants or adventurers on their way to or returning from the forest. Many inns and taverns dot the streets of the town and make up a large portion of the local business, as the cold weather allows for very little farming beyond that of potatoes and carrots, and blacksmiths are generally unneeded.

Government
Carshire operates mostly on it's own. Citizens must pay taxes to the Lord of Syrima and in return the village is provided with supplies and guards (typically about 4 dozen in the village). A mayor is appointed by the Lord to collect taxes and report anything necessary to the king.
Defences
The town has very little defense causing the growing orc problem in the Syrima Forest to be increasingly bad for the town. The Lord of Syrima has dispatched [name] along with a sizable group of soldiers to try to take care of the problem, but to little effect as of yet.
Assets
The The Obsidian Dragon is the most popular tavern in the town. It sits on the edge of the town and is owned by a Tiefling named Leucis Dundragon.
A temple of Ostia serves as a place of healing and worship in the city.
Carshire Blacksmith is the town's blacksmith. His smithy is unnamed as his family have been the only blacksmiths in town throughout the years. He makes tools for the town, and has recently been tasked with making supplies for the soldiers sent to deal with the orcs.
Carshire Quest Board is where any work sanctioned by the Mayor or the Lord of Syrima is posted.
