Giants of Øruggrheim
A huge throne rests upon a dais against the far wall of the great hall. Made of shining metals and deep heavy woods. Adorned with fabulous gems and draped by hides and furs of untold creatures. Kneeling in front of the throne, head bowed, is the titan. A veritable shining aura surrounding them. As they stand to their full 25ft height, they command presence. Muscular and lithe. Thin and shapely. Delicate but with a strength to rival the mountain. Soft features become hard lines as they move. Every movement revealing a new description. Thin cloak gathered over one shoulder and dressed in naught but small covering of fine armor they turn to sit. With a voice as deep as the mountain and as light and terrible as the wind they speak. "I am Vägledning. Let us speak."

Territories
Øruggrheim itself is actually the name of the great hall in which the ruling titan lives. Built on top of the tallest peak of The Knuckles a few miles south west from where the base of the range meets The Index. A series of villages or small towns dot the mountain side, each primarily housing the members of one particular caste. The closer to the peak the higher your standing in the Ordening. These villages are spread over a few miles with Purs, also called Praell, located at the base in the Index.
"Oruggrheim" can also be used to describe the entire area or collection of villages.
From peak to base:
- Titan - Øruggrheim
- Storm - Vedr (Veór)
- Cloud - Ský
- Fog - Thoka (Þoka)
- Fire - Bruni
- Frost - Hrím
- Stone - Bjarg
- Mountain - Fjall
- Hill - Hæd
- Ettin - Tveir
- Giant-kin - Kyn
- Ogre - Thurs (Þurs)/Thraell (Þræll)
Military
The majority of Øruggrheim's outward military might consists of Ettins, giant kin (Verbeegs, Voadkyn, Fomorians, and the occasional cyclops), and a host of ogres. Typically lead or commanded by a Fog giant. While their outward forces consist of the weaker giants, much of the strength and power of Øruggrheim remains at home.

Legislative Body
Laws within Oruggrheim are created by a small council of five made up of four storm giant high priests and the ruling titan. Generally speaking the titan has the final say and the high priests act as advisors.
Judicial Body
As the priests for all of giant kind, the storm giants act as judges within the ordening. Any issues that arise within a caste are generally left to the caste to decide but any issues that arise between castes is always judged by a storm giant priest. Virtually all the time, the priests rule in favor of the Ordening.
Executive Body
The Fog giants hold a unique position within the Ordening. While technically the fourth rank, behind the Cloud giants, they speak and act with the authority of the ruling Titan in official matters. In unofficial maters they retain their fourth position. The Fog giants enforce all of the laws and decrees set and passed down by the ruling Titan.
Neighboring Nations
Friendly but cautious
Calderians are trying to get on Oruggrheim's good side but the current ruling titan is worried about their recent aggressive expansion.
Hostile but no open war
Giants and the Doranduls have begun clashing under the mountains for precious minerals and gems.
Neutral
Seeking a military and economic alliance but recent raids have soured relations.
