Blackrock Tribe

The Blackrock tribe are a very isolationist community. After a disaterous raid against Opalhollow a number of decades ago, few of the resisdents are eager for war and bloodshed like their ancestors. However they do belive in strength of arms and much of the proving of young orcs is in the nonleathal feats of might against peers as well as more dangerous hunts of the multitude of beasts in the mountains.
  The clan is located at the foot of the Blackspire a large mountain made of a very dark stone, it stands out from the other mountains of the area significantly. There are roughly 800 clan members 500 live in the villiage of Gorthoks Haven while the rest are spread throughout a number of smaller settlements in the valley. 
  There is a single chief of the tribe who is ultimatly in charge of all of the members but if they are unsatisfactory the council of 5 may elect someone to run against the chief for the position. This is conducted by a series of trials of mind and body and assessed by the council and the members of the comunity at large. 
  The chief of the blackrock tribe is Shak Hammerthok  The five council members are respected members of the community, often elders, shamans or respected tradesmen
  Sol Halfblade A shaman and religious leader in the community
  Drugok the Elder The voice of tradition and experience on the council. He is revered for his sage council and deep knowldege of orcish custms and history. Though his body may have deminished with age his spirit burns bright with the fire of determination and resilience. Any who say otherwise will be subjected to a harsh crack from his staff
  Gruna the Carpenter is a no noncense and gruff memeber of the council, though he does not want to be there he offers sage adive through mouthfulls of bacon and eggs. He has fairly short well combed hair and a thick moustache. 
  Lurza the Warrior is the leader of the Blackrock warband when Shak Hammerthok is unable to take charge. The very occasional raids on the tribes neighbors are lead by her. More commonly she leads the hunts in the dead of winter to feed thet tribe. She is also the village constable.
  Kragg the Trader is the youngest and most recently appointed memeber of the council she gives voice to the tribes youth. She was appointed only a couple years ago when Shak Hammerthok was aiming to reestablish the trade routes Liliane De Luca formed. She has a shrewd mind for buisness and quick wit and silver tongue that has got her in trouble more than once. She is also the de facto diplomat.
