Anatomy
Zarcas are bipedal saurids who have three rows of small spikes going from the the middle of their heads (above their eyes) to the back areas of their heads. Zarcas are built with a slightly stockier frame, giving them a strong yet agile body that allows them to move quickly. They have four-digit hands with small claws on each hand, strong enough to dig into whatever they choose yet small enough to close their hands into fists.
Zarcas have strong tails that are thick enough to be used as an balance to help them run, or even climb by gripping areas that their arms or legs cannot reach.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Humans generally have had a good relationship with Zarcas for many centuries, within both kinds living in the same societies. They are often seen working with each other in various ways from simple things to even being in major occupations. In their shared history, Humans and Saurids have been in conflicts against one another at times.
Zarcas have a good relationship with members of the Lerith race as they tend to find them sociable, partly due to the more adventurous nature of Leriths. It is not uncommon for Zarcas and Leriths to be seen in the same spaces or groups, and even engaging in trade with them. Leriths who have Zarcas in their group tend to be loyal to them, and journey with them on jobs in the field.
Zarcas share a good history with the Pumus for many centuries as both have often interacted with each other without too mcuh conflict. While there has been conflict between them in the past, they mostly co-exist without issue.
