Paratek, or paranormal technology, is a powerful technological advancement that revolves around the combination of paranormal energies with technology to create various devices, machines, and other inventions that defy the physics of the natural realm. Paratek is found all over the Aretz as different nations and organizations developing their own versions of paratek for different purposes. A common belief shared among many is that paratek has its origins beyond the natural realm, as it’s very functions suggests that it was created in the otherworldly realms in someway.Utility
Paratek is used for many things in different aspects of life from providing lighting units for common homes to the construction of incredible structures that require immense amounts of power. Paratek has also found use in combat application as various military forces and other offense-oriented groups use Paratek weaponry in their arsenal. It is not uncommon to find troopers outfitted with Paratek armor that grants them abilities far beyond the common trooper, such the ability to fly and increased durability.
Paratek weaponry such as lightrifles that shoot concentrated beams of light that can be set to stun or kill with a simple mental command. Paratek battle machinery such as Heavy Engines and Heavy Tarrinships are powered by paratek cores to grant them paranormal capabilities.
