Oriagate is a large harbor city hub that lies east of the coastal shores of Kerrosano, and south of the nation of Gershon. Oriagate is the city hub for all maritime-related activities of the Kerrosanos, and also contains much attractions that brings in many tourists. Oriagate is fueled by various imports & exports that flows throughout the city. The local government of Oriagate is called the Oriagate Council. Oriagate was once a typical harbor that later expanded due to the influence of the Gershonite harborcity of Danhan. Oriagate is considered to be the twin of Danhan.

Demographics

The inhabitants of Oriagate are mostly Kerrosanos who make up the majority of the demographics. However, there are people of other nations who are found within Oriagate. The second largest group are the Gershonites, whose presence is considered par for the course due to the good relations between Kerrosano & Gershon. Sigvill tribe members are also found here, usually on business or simply traveling out of curiosity. Amazingly, people from Swindon are found here as well. They are closely watched by the local city guard.

Government

The Oriagate Council are the local government that keeps Oriagate run, consisting of eight chosen members of the population to represent them. They decide on the local laws, tributes, and manages the interests of all residents present.

Defences

The local Oriagate guard functions as both the law enforcement & defense force of Oriagate who are tasked with the safety & order of the harborcity. Answerable to the Oriagate Council, the Oriagate Guard handles matters of crime, contraband, taking patrols, undertake investigations. In addition, a den of the Kerro branch of Collens also is present in the harborcity, who often work alongside the Oriagate Guard in the defense of the city & can be called upon for aid in law enforcement whenever needed.

Districts

Oriagate is divided into several districts that contains the various activities of the harborcity, from the essential services to the recreational. The majority of these districts are open to the public, while some areas are restricted by the laws set down by the Oriagate Council. The Harbor districts are where all the harbors are located, containing all of the altarrin ships that perform the essential functions of the city hub. This district is further dividued into two sub-districts, the Civilian harbors and the Naval harbors. The Naval harbors contain the altarrin ships used by the Kerrosano Defense Forces, and are usually restricted to the public with the exception of public tours or special requests. The Civilian harbors are open to the public, containing altarrins used for tourism, trade, resource gathering, etc. The Recreational district is a large district that contains all of the recreational activities that Oriagate is famous for, and makes it a constant attraction for tourists who arrive to the harborcity. All sorts of entertainment can be found here for everyone to enjoy. Activities include altarrin racing, marksmen contests, food halls, dueling rings (for sanctioned combat matches. Very famous for the antics of swashbucklers), concert halls, theaters, etc. Unlike Danhan, activities of a shady nature are permitted in Oriagate but are kept away from regular tourists. Only people of a shadier nature attend these places (usually in the red-light section). The Council district is where the Oriagate Council government conducts their business, with the Council offices located here. Offices for assistant government officials are also found here. There is a public hall for residents to meet with the city council to discuss issues that affect Origate as a whole. Every member of the Council are required by Kerrosano to maintain their own personal residences as the Council districts do not have residential spaces. The Residential districts are where the homes of the people living in Oriagate are located, extending to the local villages that are near the walls of the harborcity. The residential districts are spread out so residents have enough space to meet living standards. Foreigners are not allowed to live in the residential homes, but they can live in rental spaces near the residential areas. Those of foreign origin who manage to obtain Kerrosano citizenship can move into the residential spaces.
