Marriages do exist among the Dracenholders and tend to be more life-long commitments, which are seen by some Sigvill tribes as very unusual. Concubines not are permitted among Dracenholders, which is quite common existent among other Sigvill tribes.   Literacy among the Dracenholders is found among their priests, merchants, leaders, and some Dracenholders. Most Dracenholders put much emphasis on the ability to read and write, especially the notable members of Dracenholder society.   Dracenholders are quite known for their preference to honor any oath or covenant made, and highly disdain the idea of breaking any oath or covenant without just cause. They are very careful with making such agreements, as the honor of the individual is valuable to Dracenholders. They will refuse to make any agreements with individuals or groups who are either known for breaking oaths or show characteristics that warn them of such possible behavior. Dracenholders are also known for severely punish oath-breakers, as they see such as a de-valuing of one's reputation & honor.
