True Dragon

True Dragons are of an entirely different species from the likes of Tiktuk or other dragon creatures in Arkellion. Few True Dragons exist, each with godlike power. True Dragons almost exclusively produce lesser dragon, dragonkin, or humanoid offspring when they reproduce. Typically, a True Dragon is only born once every thousand years or so.
  Just like the gods, True Dragons transcend the alignment system. They behave how they will behave, beholden to none but themselves. However, many do still fall on a more benevolent, malevolent, chaotic, or lawful side. Still, a typically benevolent True Dragon may lay waste to an entire city simply because he wishes it, or a more chaotic sided dragon may insist his followers follow a strict code of conduct.
  Similar to most Monstrous Races and other less common Magical Races and creatures, most people throughout Arkellion are confident that there is no such thing as a True Dragon, believing them to be the things of folk tales long past - if they ever did exist, they're obviously long since extinct by now.
