Bearic
A reltively new race, Bearic are another Dracana-created race that have recently joined the world stage. Resembling humanoid bears, most are nomads, there frightful, unusual appearance preventing integration in all but the most inclusive communies. Strong, and quite intelligent, Bearics are a valuable addition to any adventuring party.

Bearic are incredibly strong, and have great memories, but are not the most sociable type

Defensive racial traits:
Thick Fur: Due to their northern environment, Bearic have incredibly thick fur, granting them Cold Resist 5, as well as immunity to nonlethal cold damage caused by environmental effects. This effectively allows a Bearic to survive in temperatures up to -20 F without protection
Hard to Kill: Bearic blood thickens quickly in response to injury, allowing them to stabilize from near-fatal injuries that could kill lesser races. A Bearic only dies when it’s negative hit points equal 2x it’s con score, as opposed to equal it’s con score.
Feat/Skill racial traits:
Animal Affinity: Bearics gain a +2 bonus in Handle Animal, and Ride Checks
Endurance:From their long travers, Bearic have a tough spriet: granting them the Entrance feat for free
Senses racial traits:
Keen Eyesight: Bearic have both Low Light vision, as well as 60ft Darkvision
Alternate racial traits:
Drinker: The heavy drinking of some Bearic give them an iron gullet, giveing them protection against poison. Bearic with this trait gain a +4 racal bonus against Ingested Poisons, as well as a general +2 racial bonus against other poisons. In addition, these bearic can consume up to 4x as many alcoholic drinks as his con score before suffering any ill effects. This racial trait replaces Hard to Kill
Bear Claws:Some Bearic warriors grow out their claws to use as makeshift weapons to use out in the Tundra. Bearic with this racial trait gain two claw attacks, each dealing 1d4 damage. This racial trait replaces Endurance
Scent: Rather than Eyesight, some Bearic develop an amazing sense of smell, allowing them to track prey. These bearic gain the Scent ability. This racial trait replaces both Keen Senses, and Thick Fur.
Armored Hide: The fur of some Bearic is as think as armor, granting them +1 natural armor. This racial trait replaces Thick Hide

Growth Rate & Stages
Bearics age reasonbly fast, compared to humans, almost as fast as Kellium. Bearic's reach adulthood around 15, middle age at around 30, old age by 45, and Venerable around 60. Bearics older then 70 are almost unheard of.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Bearic's can see in low light conditions almost as well a elfs, and in addition, can see perfectly in the dark. There noses are quite sensitive as well, though nowhere near that of a true bear.
