The Ashen Wolf
The fiend known as the Ashen Wolf rules over a region of the Wretched known as the Infernal Thicket. Once a mortal woman consumed by her desires, The Ashen Wolf was chased off of the Material Realm by the Wild Huntsman.
The Ashen Wolf is driven by its greed and hunger, with little care about much else. Impulsive almost to a fault, the Wolf indulges in any of its cravings. Despite its fiendish and selfish nature, the Wolf also values loyalty and family. It offers a place in its pack those that it deems worthy and defends them with ferocity. Not every Warlock of the Wolf is considered in her pack, however.
The Ashen Wolf most often takes the form of a menacing wolf made from twisted metal and ash set ablaze, its eyes like burning coals that strike fear into whatever unfortunate soul is caught in its sight. The Ashen Wolf is as cunning as it is agile and strong. Its fangs and claws are strong enough to tear though even adamantine. The Wolf is strong enough to give the other Fiendish Lords of the Wretched a second thought before trespassing in the Infernal Thicket.
One way in which the Wolf is celebrated is in harvest festivals. In exchange for a burnt offering, usually the fattest cow or brawny elk, fields are protected from vermin and pest, and if a few fields burn down, that is simply an additional cost of saving the the rest of the harvest. The Wolf is also invoked by those who seek to find someone, burning an effigy for assistance in seeking them out.
Darker cults have formed in the name of the Wolf. While their motives vary, they typically wish to bring a plague of fire to consume all to help satiated the Wolf's hunger

History
While their paths crossed in their mortal lives, The man that would become Wild Huntsman give very little attention to the woman that would The Ashen Wolf. Now, after becoming an Aspect, it is the Huntsman's duty to slay the fiend that is the Ashen Wolf. Without either side having a clear advantage, the two wage war against each other through the use of their warlocks and faithful.
