JMW-mk46 Beta
The latest advancement in scouting titan technology, produced by Johnson Mechanized Warfare. It is the single lightest, and fastest of all other titan, and among the smallest. However, its light weight comes at the cost of being small, and often vulnerable if piloted by inexperienced, or otherwise unqualified titanmasters.
Power Generation
Like all titans, the MK46-Beta is powered by a miniature nuclear reactor, housed behind the cockpit. In case of a potential meltdown, the pilot is ejected, and anti-rad materials are injected directly into the reactor. However, this is extremely unlikely, as there are multiple layers of protection designed to prevent a meltdown in the fist place. One such layer is a powder-based coolant.
Propulsion
Like most titans, the MK-46Beta employs an array of hydraulics, and servomotors to generate thrust, and is the first scout titan to utilize jump-jet technology.
Weapons & Armament
The MK46-Beta's armaments are light, and largely ineffective against larger threats. Armed with only a single repeating laser cannon, it relies on speed, and the jump-jet's added maneuverability to survive its task.
Armor and defense
The speed which the MK46-Beta offers demand a light frame, and lighter armor. Only two inches of titanium plating stand between the enemy fire, and the titan's internal structure.
Communication Tools & Systems
Like most other titans, the MK46-Beta uses a standard radio array to communicate with other titanmasters, and mission control. The particular array employed by the Arcahngels has the ability to scan frequencies across AM, and FM radio simultaneously.
Sensors
Among the sonar, and radar tracking equipment, which has become standard among the titans of the second generation onward, it includes lidar, and can track the origin of radio frequencies.
