The Elven Remnant
Structure
The Remnant is led by a Regent, as the last Queen of the Elves, Celese Orellon, died when the capital of Illaeir fell. Most of the Remnant nobles have some level of magical ability, which they display publicly through their use of familiars.
Public Agenda
The Remnant's purpose is to preserve the remains of elven civilization, and to offer guidance to the younger races.
Assets
The Remnant is well-supplied with darkwood, darkleaf, and mithral. It is unknown how the elves obtain their supply of the mineral.
History
The remnants of the elven kingdom fled into the last remaining parts of the Darkwood when their civilization fell.
Demography and Population
Nearly the entire population of the Elvish Imperial Remnant are elves; very few members of other races are allowed into their territory, and those that are are typically either trusted by the government or there on the command of a higher authority recognized by the elves.
Territories
The Remnant is almost entirely located in the Darkwood.
Technological Level
The Remnant likely has the greatest amount of arcane and technological knowledge of any civilization in Archaeon.
Religion
The majority of the constituents of the Remnant follow Corellon as the creator of the elves; however, there are also many who follow Erathis, Ioun, and Melora.
Foreign Relations
The Remnant is extremely isolationist, partially due to xenophobia among the population. The Remnant has positive relations with both the Republic of Argive and the Free Cities, but are not friends of the Mountain Kingdom.
