Moradin wooed Sune with impressive inventions and a kind heart, beginning his long rivalry with Kord. and the two eventually married and had a son, Helm. Moradin fought alongside the other gods during the Dawn War, but tragedy struck when Bane killed Helm, nearly breaking the alliance of the gods. The tide turned when Moradin and Kord agreed to a truce with each other, and struck out on their own to seek revenge on Bane. After the Dawn War, Moradin became more distant from his people, mainly communicating through his priests, the Hammers of Moradin, at the Great Forge in the Spikes.
