City of Escadia
The City of Escadia is a complex machine that is run partially on traditional lines, and partially on nefarious ones. Depending on the strengths of the various factions involved the balance of power shifts.
On the surface the City is Governed by an elected Prince, who is chosen from the leading houses of the City. He is assisted by the ARCHBISHOP OF ESCADIA who heads the state cult of HEIMDALLR. These are supplemented by a town council made up of the Wardens of the various districts in town. These Wardens of Escadia are technically elected, although election is largely influenced by the amount of power and might one can bring to the selection process. All terms of office are for life.
