At the dawn of the 1st Age, the World of Pathon was sealed in permafrost and lashed by frigid, unforgiving winds. Fleeting daylight vanished into long nights shrouded in the pallor of twin moonlight. In this early twilight of creation, primal Beasts stalked shadowed mounds of snow, Spirits rose from ice and stone, and Deities roamed among them, learning their lessons. Those who venerated the Chief Deities were gifted the early tools of civilization- fire, shelter, stories- amidst the barren tundra. Survival was rare. For each risen Tribe, another faded to frost. Thus began the Ice Age.
