Boat and Diocletian meet in Fair Orchard

Boat and Diocletian met in the Fair Orchard. There, the tavern keeper gave them a quest to defeat a giant goat plaguing the village's orchard. Along the way they met up with a half-orc named Weird Guy and his wolf companion, Ko-Di. After defeating the giant goat, the party returned to Fair Orchard where Ko-Di was abducted by bandits. Boat and Diocletian vowed to help Weird Guy recover his companion.

After meeting in a tavern, the two accepted a job to hunt down a beast terrorizing the nearby apple orchard. During their quest they meet Weird Guy, a strange half orc, and his wolf companion, . After pointing Weird Guy and Ko-Di toward Fair Orchard, Boat and Diocletian find the beast terrorizing Fair Orchard: a giant goat. Diocletian and Boat manage to bring the goat down, but not without receiving grevious injuries. Fortunately, Weird Guy and Ko-Di were nearby and able to provide first aid. Together, the four travelers returned to Fair Orchard with the head of the goat. While Weird Guy and Ko-Di waited outside, Boat and Diocletian went into the tavern to claim their reward. Unfortunately, the tavern keeper informed them they were too late and the deal was off. It turned out the meat of the goat was intended to be used as tribute to a local bandit group, but the bandits had already begun to pillage. They heard a commotion outside and by the time the party arrived, Ko-Di had been taken away by the bandits. Diocletian, Boat, and Weird Guy fought off the bandits who remained, but determined it would be too dangerous to pursue the bandits who took Ko-Di without a good night's rest. The party booked a room in the tavern and shared one big bed for the night, intent on rescuing Ko-Di in the morning.
