Fair Orchard

Fair Orchard is a small agricultural village ruled by a cooperative who are chosen by other members of the village. The cooperative is loosely organized and generally only meets when important decisions need to be made by the village.

Fair Orchard is best known for its eponymous apple orchards and famous Delacore Cider. Fair Orchard also sports a small tavern, Seeds of Adventure, a general store, and a bespoke cartography shop.

Fair Orchard was founded by Eleanor Delacore - an enterprising individual who dared to dream of a post-Cataclysm world filled with apples. What started as a small, privately chartered orchard soon grew into a small farming cooperative. Almost 100 years after the founding of the village, Fair Orchard is now collectively owned and run by cooperative members.   In 100 AC Boat and Diocletian met for the first time in the Seeds of Adventure tavern. The barkeep tasked them with clearing out a monster plaguing the nearby orchards. During their adventure they met a half-orc named Weird Guy and his wolf companion, Ko-Di. Together, they defeated the monster - a Giant Goat with a bad temper.   Boat and Diocletian returned to the village victorious and parted ways with Weird Guy and Ko-Di, but all was not well in Fair Orchard. As Boat and Diocletian negotiated their reward with the barkeep, they learned that the denizens of Fair Orchard were dealing with a group of marauding bandits and hoped to use the corpse of the giant goat as an offering. Without the goat, the bandits overpowered Weird Guy and stole Ko-Di away. Boat and Diocletian agreed to help Weird Guy rescue Ko-Di and set off after the bandits.   Following the events of day, the Delacore Orchard Cooperative called a meeting together and unanimously voted that any future bandit negotiations should not be dictated by the availability of Giant Goats and the presence of adventurers capable of slaying them.
