Kiri Al'hanir
"Nalir, those calculations are so precise, they'd make a celestial clock maker weep with envy. But, darling, even a sundial needs a bit of sunshine, doesn't it? Try adding a dash of… inspiration to your star charts, or you'll just end up with a very accurate, very dull, picture of the sky."The mischievous instructor for celestial navigation at Dahal Al'Ravan - The house of trade , Kiri Al'hanir, keeps an easy smile and a mind brimming with starlight and wonder. But beneath the warmth lies a mystery, a whisper of ancient secrets , leaving her students to question if her easy demeanor masks someone far more wise and profound.
Looks
Noticeably shorter than most people, Kiri stands about the height of a young adult with the light, graceful frame of a Desert Fox. However, few who met her would notice her height first, for she is certainly a woman to remember. Warm brown eyes, bright and expressive, hold a spark of perpetual curiosity and a glimmer of mischief, making her seem younger than she really is. Her sun-kissed skin, etched with fine lines around her eyes from countless hours spent gazing at the skies, retains the soft, almost luminous quality of youth. Her dark brown hair, whether worn open or beneath an ornate headscarf, seems to constantly escape its confines, framing her face with unruly tendrils and wisps, giving her a carefree, free-spirited look. When she smiles, which is often, it's a wide, genuine expression of joy that illuminates her face, lighting up rooms and people alike.Character
Kiri is something special, a rare jewel amongst the sea of kaharan people - a blend of scholar and trickster. She possesses a sharp wit and a quick tongue, often punctuating her lessons with dry humor or unexpected pronouncements. As an instructor of celestial navigation at the School of Trade, she is well respected by her colleagues for her vast knowledge, yet eschews formality, preferring to engage with her students on a personal level. She's approachable, easy to talk to, and possesses a genuine warmth that draws people to her. She often gazes at the night sky, her expression shifting between amusement and profound contemplation, as if deciphering a hidden message written in the stars. Beneath her playful facade, a mischievous streak lurks. She delights in the unexpected, in pushing boundaries of men and science alike and challenging all assumptions. Her lessons are rarely straightforward; she weaves in fantastical tales of celestial beings, or subtly alters historical accounts, leaving her students to decipher the truth from the embellishment. She enjoys observing their reactions, their furrowed brows and puzzled expressions, a mischievous glint in her deep, brown eyes.Clothing
Kiri is usually seen in practical, loose-fitting clothing in muted desert tones, soft linens and sun-faded hues that blend seamlessly with the endless sands. Her tunics, often in shades of turquoise or seafoam green that bring out her eyes, ripple gently in the desert breeze, paired with simple, comfortable trousers that allow for ease of movement.
While underway, she usually dons a Silk scarf to tame her unruly hair (without much success), often showing flowery or delicately wrought patterns. A worn leather belt, supple and well-traveled, adorned with small, intricately carved bone charms and worn copper coins that tingle quietly, rests comfortably at her hip. These charms, she claims, are gifts from the desert spirits, each holding a fragment of a star's story yet to be told. She always carries a small, leather-bound journal, well worn and filled with notes, its pages filled with meticulous star charts and cryptic notes, the scent of sandalwood and desert dust clinging to its weathered leather. Simple, hand-crafted silver jewelry, delicate silver chains, and rings that catch the light like distant stars, and leather bracelets adorned with lapis lazuli pearls are adorning her wrists, subtle adornments that highlight her natural beauty.

I love the sound of her, even though I would probably be frustrated by her embellished historical accounts. XD
