Session 44: Nasty Ice Dudes

We are in the **Plane of Ice**.
  We have to take times to hole up for 8 hours when the weather is awful. Icebergs and sheets of ice go by.
  Now we’ve been out for aboutr 2 months. We are sick of the same goodberries and only water. Armor is getting cold and not helping

Moving along

Shimmer won’t be able to draw the runes under the path well.
  There’s an iceberg coming along and fog. We are wary.
  At the back of us there’s a metallic clunk and scrape. At the front a burst of light and a figure appears. Then same sounds as grappling hooks appear in front of us and behind us.
  We will let you live if you put your belongings in a pile!
  Cita, “We will let you live if you go away!”
  Stromy asked about if there was a Tabaxi who hired them. Nope - it’s their land.
 

FIGHT

Boing boing Dwarf! Thoradin hops around hits the leader hard.
  Stormy also hit hard and hit last to take out the leader/queen.
  Stormy gets hit - it feels different. Shimmer attacks.
  The rounds go. Amazing hits in many cases.
  But we are getting hit hard. Bah.
  Cita uses a charm illusion of an Ettin as bonus action. Then potion of firebreath.
  Thoradin blows the Bird Whistle. (bonus action) Then disappears. (The whistle disappears)
  Thoradin appears on ledge next to Stormy. He’s got shiny “bronze” armor now.
  Cita gives Cernan a potion of greater healing - bonus action.
