In the dark corners of Ar'Keth's pantheon, where malevolence thrives, the deity of murder, cruelty, and pain reigns. This sinister god is known as Malkevor, the Lord of Torment. Malkevor is a deity embodying the darkest aspects of suffering, a force that revels in the infliction of pain, the pursuit of cruelty, and the orchestration of murder. Malkevors a towering figure, draped in tattered robes that writhe with unseen horrors. His eyes gleam with a malevolent crimson light, and his laughter echoes with the chilling cacophony of a thousand tormented souls.   Followers of Malkevor are often driven by sadistic desires, embracing cruelty and seeking power through causing pain, Any act of murder tributes Malkevor, willing or not. They may take part in secretive rituals that involve torture and bloodshed, believing that these acts please their dark god and grant them favor. The worship of Malkevor is conducted in hidden chambers, underground sanctuaries, or forgotten crypts, where his name is whispered with reverence and dread.   The symbol of Malkevor is a semi flayed skull, skin pulled tight behind the skill, its eyes pierced by a dagger each. Followers often wear small amulets or tattoos bearing this emblem, hidden beneath their clothing.   In the legends of Ar'Keth, it is said that Malkevor was born from the suffering of the world itself, a manifestation of the anguish felt by all living beings. It is believed that he lurks in the shadows, sowing discord and orchestrating tragedies. Some tales tell of Malkevor offering dark bargains to desperate souls, promising them power in exchange for unwavering loyalty and service.   Malkevor's existence is widely reviled by the other deities of Ar'Keth's pantheon, who view him as a blight upon creation. Timhir The Luminous stands against his influence stronger than any other, many of his most devote Paladin's dedicate their lives to sect of worship that may arise in Malkevor's name.     In Ar'Keth, where darkness and light clash in a perpetual struggle, the presence of Malkevor serves as a reminder of the depths to which malevolence can reach, even in a world where heroes strive to hold back the tides of darkness.

The "Night of Unveiled Torment" is a solemn and clandestine event observed by the cultists of Malkevor. Taking place on the darkest night of the year, when the moon's light is weakest and shadows reign supreme, this special day is shrouded in secrecy and ritualistic fervor. During the Night of Unveiled Torment, cultists gather in hidden sanctuaries, their faces obscured by dark hoods and robes. In the flickering light of torches, they engage in chilling chants and eerie rituals heavily focused on indulging the tenet's of Malkevor , invoking the Lord of Torment's presence through their shared dedication. The night is marked by whispered prayers and the eerie resonance of devotion, all offered as a tribute to Malkevor and a demonstration of their unwavering allegiance to his malevolent dominion.
