Werewolf

"Werewolves aren't like the Lycanthropes you read in those fantasy novels. Most are spiritual and have a deep connection to nature. I've met a few that are just blood thirsty monsters, but they're dead now. You'll do fine kid. I have faith in you."

~ Jackal

Basic Information

Anatomy

When in their human form a werewolf looks no different than another individual in normal society. When the werewolf transforms they become a hybrid between human and a wolf. They change into a bipedal wolf that has two legs, two long arms that have claws, some have tails, and their head changes to that of a wolf.

Genetics and Reproduction

Werewolves are created through sexual reproduction. If a werewolf mates with another werewolf the child is going to be a werewolf. When a werewolf mates with a human there's a 1/4 chance that the child will be a werewolf. Werewolves cannot reproduce with any other creature.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Werewolves require an increased caloric intake that ranges from 2,500 - 3,500 calories for an average werewolf. Werewolves are herbivores but mainly consume meat. There are some that are completely vegetarian or vegan.

Behaviour

Werewolves are different in their behavior based on their personal beliefs and the beliefs of the pack.

Additional Information

Social Structure

A werewolves social structure is dependent on the pack. It can range from a calm pack that utilizes the nature spirits to defend themselves and those they love to an ever violent, dynamic pack that values strength over anything else.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Werewolves have heightened senses while in their human form and their hybrid form. Though, their senses are even higher when in their hybrid form.
