Xayaca Xali (shy-AH-cah SHA-lee)
Elusive aasimar Xayaca Xali served a priestess at the Hawkshead Sanctuary in Khara, the city in which she lived for the past 20 years. She disappeared without a trace on 10NW717; her companion Priestess Asova, knowing her history, immediately put out a call for information about the Federation of Vay in the hopes to track her down. She is a member of Project Vanguard Squadron OR-02, and she served in the Vayan military for 40 years.
Xayaca is an Axatla elf with very pale eyes and hair. She's strong and solidly built and appears in her mid-20s, despite being 127 years old, and she has a distinctive surgical scar that stretches down the middle of her chest. She is known to Asova as being modest, quiet, and stoic; he described her rather unnerving ability to reveal very little about herself in conversations with others. She has mastered some druidic traditions taught to her by her mother, but possesses rather little magical might.
She has a half-sister, Tsala, who is a half-elf. Tsala and Xayaca share a mother, Alui, but their fathers are different; Xayaca's elven birth father died when she was young, and Tsala's human father perished recently. Alui recently returned to their ancestral home in Caelus to care for her ill sister, Ixtli. It was there that Xayaca was born. Their last name, Xali, is an Axatla tribal name held by their whole extended family and a few other families. Xayaca, like other priestesses of Istha, largely dropped the use of her last name when she entered the priesthood.
