There are a number of beings worshipped as gods by the people living on Yorth. Most numerous are the Automaths. These are the gods of the Awakened, the varied peoples who all awoke into this life together on the First Day, on The Cradle, an island at the center of the Tychi Sea at the center of the Sundered Ring of Yorth. For many of these peoples, several Automaths make up their pantheons, while for others, a single Automath serves as their sole god. The Pious Union of the Awakened has sought to unify the worship of all the disparate Automaths into one religion, The Concordant Piety , excepting the several Automaths branded as Dissidents. Outside of The Union, more narrow worship of a smaller number of these Automaths exists, including those branded as Dissidents. While most of the Automaths do not directly intervene in the affairs of the Awakened, there are several who do. Several beings other than the Automaths have come to be worshipped as gods among groups of Awakened outside of The Union. These include Lycaon, god of the people of Dyrstad, Hiantem, god of the Changelings of The Bidlan Commonwealth, and the Primarch, the primordial god of elements worshipped by the Genasi of Thyella. The numerous and scattered Beastfolk of Yorth mostly worship a being called Ibin, the Great Owl, who they claim granted them souls, thought, language, and love. Ibin lives, according to legend, in the far north. The Orcs of the far eastern Lunian Wildlands worship a god called Ifyrus. Finally, the various Dragonkin of the Dragonlands worship the powerful Dragons that rule over their civilizations.
