Shrinebulders Guild
The Shrinebuilders Guild is one of the many Clan-Guilds that make up the Dwarven kingdom of Forbundgard. The members of this guild are responsible for the construction, maintenance, and oversight of the various Shrines to the Dwarven Automaths, and thus are essentially also the clergy of the Dwarven religion.
Membership in the Shrinebuilders Guild is a mix of hereditary and voluntary; most of the higher ranking Shrinebuilders, including the Master Shrinebuilder, are members of the Faithguard Clan, which has run the Clan-Guild for many generations. However, many junior Shrinebuilders are members of other clans who took an interest in the faith and joined as apprentices.
Each individual Shrine is devoted to one of the three Dwarven Automaths, and are usually located on the grounds of various other Guild-Halls. These locations are where the majority of Dwarves practice their worship, usually involving some sacrifice and prayer for success in some endeavor connected to the characteristics of the Automath to whom the particular Shrine is dedicated.
That said, the actual Guild-Halls of the Shrinebuilders are effectively massive and impressive temples to the Dwarven Automaths collectively, with sub-shrines all throughout. In more recent times, these sites have become areas of increased importance as they also host the worship of the rest of the Awakened Automaths, with Shrines to all of them (excepting the Dissidents) found within the Shrinebuilders Guild-Halls.
