Kator
One of the Human Automaths, Kator was seen at Numenos' side on the First Day. She is revered by humans as one of their principal deities, alongside Numenos. While he is said to have been moving among the Awakened, breathing life into them directly, Kator was stationed by their resplendent Shimmering Hall, working magical artifacts of immense and extraordinary power. It is believed that the hand of Numenos could only accomplish what it did through the focus and attention to detail Kator brought.
During the process of the Awakening, while Numenos' will was directed toward his task, a great Beast tore through the wilds and threatened to devour the newly Awakened children of the Automaths. Kator wielded a great spear, leading the charge against the Beast, and struck it dead as if with a bolt of pure elemental fury.
Kator is worshiped as the protector of humanity throughout The Pious Union of the Awakened. Her focus and determination are valued as a vital counterpoint to Numenos' chaotic passion, and prayers to her are often made both when in need of protection (or aid in war) and when engaging in the creative arts of manufacture. She is associated with Phanos, the larger of the two moons of Yorth, and is seen as the counterpart and shadow to Numenos' bright fire.
Priests and clerics of Kator practice the domains of Order, War, the Forge, Tempest, and Twilight. Worship of Kator is not as widespread among non-humans as is the worship of Numenos, as she can sometimes be characterized as emblematic of human logic often leading to violence. Kator is known to sometimes answer the prayers of her most faithful directly, and there are accounts of Kator bodily descending to Yorth and intervening in the affairs of the world during times of great need.
