This is the day that Elves discovered that they could smelt and mix copper with tin to create the much harder and more durable bronze metal.

On this day in history, a Star Elf smith named Nerra Gleampeak experimented with mixing copper with tin and created bronze. After he realized that this new metal was stronger and more durable than the copper that made it, Nerra spread the word of her invention and revolutionized the crafting of tools, weapons, and armor.
