incarnation

An incarnation, most commonly referred to when speaking of deities, is a creature that is either a piece of or aspect of another thing, usually a deity. Incarnations are known to have various levels of power and abilities, and there are three primary kinds of incarnations.   Avatar, a piece of the whole, the form of incarnation that is the most complete and most representative of the full being, yet their power may be far more limited. Avatars are usually corporeal.   Aspect, a piece of part of the whole, a god of death may have aspects representing different kinds of death or detah in different regions, for example. Another kind of aspect is aspects that are far lesser then the being themselves, like an angelic creature that is an aspect of a god. Aspects vary in their tendency towards corporealness, often being at least partially corporeal.   Manifistation, a connection directly to the whole, usually temporary, a manifestation is usually vastly powerful in at least some fashion, though minor manifistaitons does exist, such instances are still manifistations of the full being, they are just limited by the connection. Manifistaitons are usually not corporeal.
