Santa's Village
Santa's Village, or Christmastown, is where Santa and his helpers manufacture toys, live, the place from which Santa distributes toys on Christmas Eve, and ensure Christmas Spirit (Belief in Ancient Power and its’ Spirits) is generated year after year. It first began as Santa's base of operations as a sprawling commune for the Mission before it it eventually was a town and finally a city. All the Christmas Beings belong here. All live here. Even Wintertide Beings live here.
Whatever Santa's Village actually is, it is a place of holiday cheer.
The Valley "discovered" by Nicholas has an evergreen forest valley with no way to measure the acreage. It was invisible when Santa landed but became visible when all woke. It is a huge valley that is also Father Winter's Domain as Arctic and Antarctic Regions are his to rule however he sees fit. But he chooses to make a deal with Santa. Santa is allowed here but the deities will create storms and things whenever. Nicholas is okay with this.
It is deep within the Arctic Region (Arctic Region of Earth). It is called a Great High Node as all all Ley Lines converge here to form the mystical shield. It is one of the top ten most powerful locations on Gaea.
Santa's Village began as a self-sufficient community of Santa, his Christmas Elves, Reindeer AKA Flyers, and Father Winter. IT is dedicated to their lives and to the production of toys for Christmas Eve. This is where Santa's first incarnation of his home comes from. Not many buildings are here. Which is fine as there are less residents in this incarnation than in future incarnations.
It is soon that Yetis and polar bears come.
As the Commune grows bigger with more elves and other residents, it transforms into a second incarnation. The actual town. This is essentially the same place but with more buildings and more people living here. This new incarnation includes Snowpeople.
As the residents increase in number as the population increases, Santa chooses to build a bigger place to prepare toys. Except he is rushed as magic is almost gone and the species must leave. Right after they do so, he and all go to the top and create the third incarnation of Santa's Workshop. This time, it is a city. And it is also has a governing body but still The Clauses at the head. A Christmas Council (Great Christmas Parliament).
To explain why Santa's Village might need to expand, there would two factors to consider.
The first would be population of Gaea. The second would be believers.
There were population growth spurts already. So, more children equals more believers which equals more toys to make and deliver. Then it skyrocketed to the Moon in the 1950's .
If there are more believers than elves or toys made, that would cause belief to go way down. Because belief is something that ebbs and flows, the more there is to ensure its' growth, the less it must grow for the Christmas Beings to use every year.
With more believers, Santa needs more elves and more space to make toys for elves.
