Pip Whistler, The Innovation Elf
Born in 1500 as Wilhelm Ornament Whistletopper in Santa's Toy Workshop Compound and moved into the Center of Christmas Spirit and Magic City, he usually uses "Pip Whistler" as he likes the name although he is an Ornament by birth (as in part of the family named Ornament which is a big deal as it is one family which began at the beginning of the Christmas History). He is the Christmastide Mystical Kingdom's Innovation and Visionary Elf.
He was schooled by teachers at the Institute of Merriness Studies. One of the first students in fact. But upon completing his primary education, he moved into his secondary education without a direction and nobody could figure him out so they allowed him to get into every college and graduate with the highest honor an elf could achieve, "Perpetual Student and High Spiritus Christmas".
Although his extended family works all over the place, his two parents work in the Reindeer and Sleigh Departments.
Pip, as we'll call him from now on, is considered a "different soul" to other Christmas Elves.
Pip is infectiously enthusiastic, a little scatterbrained, and more introverted than extroverted but his heart is in the right place for someone who wears Holly on his hat and bells on his elfin cold-weather shoes.
He also lives for ideas. His big heart was never meant for one department as he likes to think about the operation as a whole.
And if he were human, he would be diagnosed as ADHD and maybe even on the Autism Spectrum. His thoughts are everywhere (both literally and figuratively). His house and workstation (an office so contained at least) are both messy. And he will lose his ideas if they aren't written down. Oh yeah, time is never on his side.
Still, he is wiser than an elf his age normally is.
He is also a lover of music, animals, and nature.
But every being in the Kingdom loves him for his heart, his theme of possibilities everywhere, and the fact that he's had a hand in many things around their part of the world.
Pip's the only elf, not part of any department. He is the innovation and inventor elf. He sees everywhere and has learned everything so he can figure out how he makes the process of every department easier. He also sometimes the businesses in the Elfin Village Area and The Aurora District.
He currently works out of The Hall of Christmastide Governance on the first floor. He has one office with a big workspace next door. He also ensures there's protocols in place for emergencies, missing supplies, and threats against Christmas and Santa Claus.
His full title is Grand Chief of Holiday Innovation, Pip the Energetic Happy Elf.
Pip has been vital in the expansion of the City. But he was well-known before that. He started in school with the creation of Trains, Then he created The Very Merry Christmas Sleigh-port. Then he finished school and mapped the tunnel system (), came up with better ways for toy making and wrapping, and much more.
His accomplishments are far greater to the Kingdom than some even know.
