Claus and Christmastide Archives
The Claus and Christmastide Archives. often known as Santa's Secret Personal Treasury, serves as a private depository for the following subjects: Christmas History, Christmastide Calendar, and Santa's Personal Book Library of Christmastide and Claus. It is a dimensional place where this information is hidden from the Anti-Christmas Beings and from The Dark Magic's Spirit even before magic left Gaea.
It is similar to The Vatican Archives except it is way more stricter in allowance of people able to enter.
Everything inside is vital to Christmastide and the mantle of Santa Claus.
It is connected to Enchantment of Noel Grand Palace and Grounds via Santa's Home Office.
The Claus Archives began long before there was a Mrs. Claus.
In the original Santa's Village (Santa's Toy Workshop Compound), Santa kept a hidden library which was the unofficial Claus Archives. It had held everything. Santa recognized long before that there was a need to collect and preserve anything and everything related to the mantle. He knew it all had to be safegaurded. For the heart of Christmas was the Spirit and for humans that spirit manifested in Santa Claus.
Then magic waned. For centuries, it waned.
Until it was no more.
When all created Center of Christmas Spirit and Magic City and then moved in, the library became part of The Claus Home.
And it has been that way ever since.
There are not many beings Santa will trust his kingdom to. There are not many beings who he trusts to keep certain items safe. And other than the headquarters, there is no space more valuable and secret besides the Claus Archives. Until other places come into existence.
These people are the Guardians. And his wife. But if both are gone, the others come. They watch along with each protection detail of Christmastide Mystical Kingdom. No one in these details know. No one outside of the Guardians know. Same with the Ancient Power Archives.
Within the archives, a collection lies of extremely special texts and manusripts in scroll form as well as artifacts from the earliest days of Santa's Village and alll the way to today. Each of these is important for Christmastide History and for the mantle of Santa Claus.
As the collection of manuscrips (in scroll form) detail a lot of Christmastide-related information, this library is a testament to the enduring spirit of both the holiday season and the mantle of Santa Claus which partially symbolizes the Spirit of Christmas.
The first and most ancient scroll is Santa's Second Christmas Prophecy Scroll from when he entered the Legendary and Mystical Guardians of Humankind and Goodness.
The next was the collection of "books" he got. These were actually scrolls but later turned into books.
The Scroll of The Mantle of Santa Claus, The Gift-Giver is one of the "books". It describes what the mantle of Santa is supposed to do, what the mission is, how he/she protects and energizes the Spirit of Christmas, his/her relation to Spirit of Christmas (they're pseudo-siblings). and everything one would need to know as they begin their journey in this role. This scroll was forgotten.
Sleigh Design and Crafting was a scroll not for Santa but he who needed to protect what was in the scroll. This too was never opened. It was forgotten.
Another forgotten scroll was titled Santa's Reindeer in Flight. It speaks of how the reindeer fly if there is no magic left.
None of these three have been opened.
However, there is a likely more Santa has kept that aren't known.
Some say a book exists that chronicles the history of Santa Claus and Christmastide. Others say the first Naughty and Nice List is held here. And some say there is an illustrated guide detailing each species in the Kingdom. Nobody knows if they actually exist.
What is also known is that information about Santa's Toy Workshop Compound, Center of Christmas Spirit and Magic City, and the whole valley itself is here. Including some general statistics of population, population growth, and some other information.
Part of the Claus Archives are the books. And part of this place is the items.
Each item is ancient. Each item is preserved for the future. This sacred space is far beyond what many Christmas Elves and other residents know.
The cherished artifacts remain here. Until they are needed again.
The first and most ancient is the Ancient Christmastide Bell of St. Nicholas. This bell rang at the church where St. Nicholas died. This same church he was also the bishop. It later disappeared after Nicholas left. Somehow, it made its way into the Kingdom as a hand bell where it is today. Its' power unknown. Questions left unaswered.
The First Sleigh Bell was made early on to ensure that Santa and his team work as one. It rings in harmony with everything. It symbolizes Santa's journey of hope and love as he travels around the world each Christmas night. It also symbolizes harmony, unity, and together as family and as community. This item was very important as it adds one more thing for the sleigh.
The Polaris Compass is what helped Santa deliver presents timely and return home safely. While many generations have passed since it was used, Santa keeps it safe. It is here to help the next Santa deliver toys efficently and with utmost care.
Santa's elves are not here. Christmas Elf Dust is stored elsewhere. What is here is the first toy some created long ago. Each toy shows and represents elvin craftsmanship and creativity. Some are wooden. Some are metal. Some combine both wood and metal. These first creations reside here to remind Santa he has thinkers, doers, creatives, and scientists with him who can help with issues should he need them.
Each toy has a diagram. Each toy honors the hope and love they put into the world each Christmas.
It is also possible other items are here. Some may be first editions. Others may be prototypes.
Santa has no future plans for this place. But he knows it will be needed as it is part of Christmas, both the past and future. And so it will stay. It shall remain a living testament to the magic and hope of the holiday season, to the joy of the children, and to remind those who know that once part of something, your piece may expand and adapt that thing into something wonderful.
And if Santa or the other Guardians need a reminder of why they do what they do, they can find it here. Because this archive reminds each that hope is important but so are harmony and unity and friendship. This is a beacon. This is endurance. This is inspiration for all the world.
