The populace mostly consists of cattle farmers who let the castle graze in the hills north of the settlement, with a couple larger fields owned by more wealthy farmers surrounding the village. There is no inn or tavern in the village and neither are there any real shops. There used to be a small salt mine north east of the settlement, but it has been abandoned due to its remoteness.
