Valdas Halkair is one of the main leaders of Ahranic Forces in Anaheim.

Personal history
Born in 1011. in family of proud Kurgan warriors, Valdas proved exceptional skills in dueling at very young age. He joined his warband when he was only 13 and fought in many campaigns against neighboring tribes and kingdoms. He created his own warband at age 17 and led it on campaign to loot and pillage northern realms. Milet, Mithrasian Kingdom, Southland tribes - all learned of fury and strength of greatest Kurgan champion. However, his winning streak ended when he encountered Knights of Flamesword supported by Mithrasian men-at-arms Miletian mercenaries. Skirmish between two forces occurred on 12th May 1037. at river Nolas and Kurgan warband was almost entirely annihilated. Valdas managed to escape by hiding in the mountains with 5 of his warriors. While they were trying to find hiding space, they found an old temple of Ahran.

While officially they are allies, Khorashan and Halakir have very little in common, and privately hate each other for various reasons. Halakir is distrustful of sorcerers and sees only brute strength as a true measure of power. Khorashan sees Halakir as a simple-minded brute, but is trying to keep harmonious relationship because he knows his strength and leadership will be important in future wars.
