The Gates of Ruin
Geography
The Gates of Ruin is a geological feature found between The Shatterlands in Southwestern Kornôgel and the Petty Kingdom of Nekor in Northwestern Alkebulan. The straits connect the Mor Kreizdouar and the Mor Bras via a network of flooded canyons, lava tubes, arches and underground caverns.
The largest of these passages is well charted and heavily traveled, but other passages remain unknown and treacherous. Sharp rocks, cavern collapses and seismic shifts of currents lead to dozens of ships vanishing each year.
History
The Urzh Kroashent - Knights of the Crossroads were especially active in securing the Gates of Ruin for travel, marking a primary focus of the White, Red and Yellow Commands. Following the destruction of the Order, the region has become even more danagerous.
