Roches Argents

The Roches Argents appear as an island to those traveling across Mag Mor, its white cliffs rising out of the sea or fields of white grass.   There are two bridges to enter the realm. An old stone bridge, called the Bridge of Swords, extends from the upper cliffs disappearing into the mists over the Gue du Sang, Blood Ford. The bridge extends into various Bleed around the world, allowing the living limited access to the island. Only great warriors may enter along the Bridge of Swords. The other bridge, the Lost Bridge is in a state of severe disrepair, making for a dangerous crossing.   A great castle stands at the shoreline, the Kastell ar marvailhoù, where Ri Benn Melwas reigns. The Perron, a sacred fountain, sits in the castle courtyard. A crypt of 34 tombs lies beneath the castle, arranged around a central tomb blocked on all sides by lances of fire.   In the center of the island is the Perilous Forest, a primordial woodland guarded by a pair of Gryphons. Deep within the forest is is a fountain of boiling waters, and a castle made of sapphires. A pale Eladan woman clad in grey with a single rose appears on the balcony.

The island is difficult to approach from Mag Mor, as the waters around it are choppy, while the "plain" is ravaged by strong winds and quicksand.

Spectral horses of pure white race around its "shores."   Atop the cliffs, are the apple trees of the Roches Argents. These trees are made of pure silver, with vibrant white blossoms.

The Roches Argents are ruled by an Eladan Rí Benn named Melwas, who appears clad in a blood red robe and a crown of red oak leaves.
