Volos

Volos is a Feyn spirit who remains in incorporeal form, connected deeply to the ancient ruins and the old magic of Alterran. His presence was first revealed to Rolandus when he acquired a Cryst-Nirithean sword, a relic from the ancient times of Chernaya. This sword serves as a conduit for Volos, allowing him to communicate with Rolandus in a way that the latter does not fully understand. The connection between Volos and Rolandus is both powerful and mysterious. Upon touching the sword, Rolandus hears Volos's voice whispering to him, guiding him through complex puzzles and revealing ancient secrets hidden within the ruins. This guidance has proven crucial in navigating the dangers and uncovering the lost knowledge of the forgotten places between the Oblidan Wilds and the Midlands. Volos's knowledge extends far beyond the immediate, offering insights that are both helpful and potentially ominous, suggesting he has an agenda that is not entirely clear to the group. Despite his invaluable assistance, Volos remains an enigma. His motives and true nature are subjects of speculation among the group, as his guidance seems to align with their goals, so far.
