Orgulho Rigorosa

Orgulho Rigorosa. The pride of the empire and the largest military base in the Empire. It keeps a tight grip on the populace. Located at the north end of the airstrip, it’s fairly central allowing it to quickly get to anywhere in the city. It houses all of Grenagem's standing military force. This has caused the military to become desensitized to the needs of the population. A cruel sword made for the cruel hand that holds it. The military are the dogs of the government, generally on a pretty short leash. Let loose when abroad.   A group within the Orgulho are known as the Roupa Secreta. They are the secret police of Grenagem. They perform all of the raids and patrol much more heavily than the rest of the military. Consisting mostly of woman hand picked by the Chair of Defense. They focus on routing out any who speak out against the Empire. They still have a hard time dealing with the overpopulation of the slums where crime, and more importantly treason, take place. Still they are infamous among the foreign populace, causing many to fear the step of their boots and the poison in their words.

Like a cancer on the city, the walls of the Orgulho slowly creep out. Growing as the Empire's fleet grows. Buildings are added on to and walls jut out at weird angles. Whatever is most convient at the time.

Made mostly of metal, the Orgulho is like a living war machine. Choking the life from Grenagem.
