Juliana was born in Fangorn to a middle-classed family. Her parents were farmers who lived a few miles outside of the city. Her parents worked hard so that Juliana could go to the city to receive a proper education. When she turned 18 she was sent to the city to be educated at the physician's order. She studied at the order for many years, after seven years she had mastered the arts of chemistry and medicine. She became a certified physician and started working as a wandering doctor and chemist. Her life as a freelance doctor was freeing and paid quite well, she served nobles in their mansions and those less fortunate in the streets. During her wanders she had some flings, but nothing serious or lasting, until she met Henry Morningfall in A4 648. She felt something different with him and the two first became good friends, then lovers, and in A4 649 Juliana asked Henry to marry her, and he said yes. A year later she gave birth to their first child and named her Alisia.
