Armand Bellencour

Armand is well trained and has a learn and muscular body.

Armand is a very handsome man with eyes said to enthrall women. Armand has a very well kept beard which is no longer than stubbs, but is groomed to look like upwards spikes.

Armand has some problems with balance due to him being struck by lightning, the vertigo comes and goes randomly, which is why he is always carrying a cane.

Armand is often well dressed, but chooses to almost always wear sleeveless clothes to show of his arms and scars. He also wears an Aurorian Order scarf.

Armand Bellencour was the only son of his father Marcelin Bellencour, but he had a sister who was born five years after him, which unfortunately also took the life of his mother Mirèlha. Armand grew up with his father Marcelin who was a very ambitious man who was often outspoken within the court of the High Duke of Euderia. He was a controversial figure for his opposition to the Trugarian Empire, but Aethon II Vyrion, liked him for his honesty and economical knowledge. He was often in the capital of Euderia, leaving Armand to be home alone with his sister, until he turned 13, where he would always accompany his father in court and was allowed to be witness to many dealings behind closed doors. Marcelin was a very intimidating father for Armand who feared him somewhat as he was quick to anger when he was home, he would never be physical against his family, but his words would often cut through to Armand and his sister. Most of what Marcelin would attack his son for was his slowness in what he tried to teach him. Armand was not a quick learner while he was with his father, but instead of making Armand upset or give up on taking over after his father one day, it motivated him to find answers and knowledge in different ways. This would lead him to the Aurorian Order later in life.   In A4 647 Marcelin would accompany Aethon II to deal with the Trugarian Empire, a visit which Armand was going to attend, but his boat sickness made his father decide to leave him at home, to his disappointment. The royal court would deal with the Trugarian Empire, but never return as the Starlight Voyager would crash and all of its crew would die at the cliffs outside Sylvera, in the event known as the Sorrowful Return. Armand was only 17 when his father died, at which point he had to take over as the house head and continue his family's legacy. He stepped up to the task and would move to Sylvera with his sister to keep close to the new High Duke Aric Vyrion, who was but a boy himself. While in Sylvera, he would take lessons with the Aurorian Order, and over the next decade, he would become an honorary luminar for his hard work.   In A4 649 Armand had made up his mind that he would accompany his trade vessel to see more of the world, and to learn more about his connections that he inherited from his father. But only a few days into his voyage, his ship was stuck by lightning, which nearly killed him. He became scared of his arms, back and chest, but survived. After the many ship-related events which had caused grief to his family, he promised himself and his sister to never step foot on a boat again, fearing the wrath of the gods. He would also seek help from both clergy and dream readers to understand the gods' plans for him, as he believed they tried to tell him something.
