Iola the Second is the daughter and eldest-born of Imolia Vandivel the Second and Gavrel Stintorn, her consort. Iola grew up happy and well cared for. Her family was close-knit and they encouraged her to explore new ideas.

Personal history
Iola took a diplomatic trip to the Coral Isles. While there, she met Kerdon Shinrow, a merchant-sailor with a successful young business.
Kerdon refused to move to Alfeari City to remain with Iola, but he visited her no less than a full week out of each month. They never formalized their relationship, though Iola birthed five children that looked just like Kerdon, and he visited even more after each birth to spend time with them.
The children, Kendon, Isidra the Third, Berion, Shisia, and little Jermad, all grew up happy and healthy.
Iola died suddenly while travelling to the Coral Isles. She had abdicated the remainder of her reign to her daughter, Isidra the Third, in order to spend her later years with the man she loved. There are rumors that her death was not natural, but a successful assassination, though too late to disrupt the Kingdom of Alfeari.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Iola began expanding the existing social programs, as well as creating more regulations to protect lower classes from abuse and wage slavery.
