University of Shanballot
In one regard, the University of Shanballot is both an organization and a landmark. Named for the legendary mage Shanballot from the Age of Mysterium, and one of the original Mage Universities, the University of Shanballot still attracts interest from around the world to learn and grow in the arcane arts.
Due to its prestigious place in history, as well as its proximity to the Arcanum Council, admission into the University as a student is closely safeguarded. However, with special permission, it is possible to walk on campus and audit some classes for a fee.
It is rumored that the University of Shanballot houses one of the largest magical item collections in the world. As such, their security is of the highest quality.
Architecture
Large spiraling towers that seem to almost defy the laws of physics surround the university, while the central building is designed in a gothic-style archetecture that reaches nearly 50ft. in the tallest peak, and spans in width and height to cover an average block of land.
