The Qualian Quarry is among the most deadly places to work in Dianmallo. Every week, there's a new death toll given for the harsh environment and pace that the workers are forced into each day to earn enough to support their families.   Despite the potential for death, the site pays well enough for the most poor in the city to continue seeking employment here. There are a few individuals highlighted by the organization who have raised enough money through hard work to get themselves and their families out of poverty, which is a huge draw to the Quarry. What is seldom mentioned is that these individuals were extremely luck, had strict financial discipline, and avoided all of the taverns on the way to work and back... Indeed, there are several low-life, low-cost taverns nearby this quarry that often take the hard earned pay from these workers and give them a semblance of respite.   In the quarry itself, there is a rich deposit of stone underneath the hill that is being uncovered more and more each day. Some call it a magical mine in and of itself, for it has been mined for centuries and still has much depth to be uncovered.   Some hushed rumors claim that the quarry actually reaches into another dimension and the deaths are caused by tributes. Other rumors claim that the quarry rebuilds itself magically each night, as if no work had actually been done. Several rumors abound, but no one knows for sure, except those who delve deep into the quarry to learn for themselves, risking their lives in the process.
