Magic Mug Pub

A fun sight to behold in the Shanballot Ward within the Dianmallo Arcane District. The Magic Mug Pub has a famed massive mug that magically floats in the air in the center of the room, swishing back and forth. No one knows how it got there, only that it is some existing piece of magic from the Age of Mysterium that remains unexplained. This adds to the excitement - and caution - of the establishment!   If one wants a drink at the Magic Mug, they would go about the normal means of purchasing a drink at the bar. However, the mug above will occasionally fill the tankard of a random patron with exact precision! It will simply spill out of the giant ceiling mug and land into the tankard of a patron, perfectly filling it from being empty to full. No one has been able to discern the rhyme or reason for this phenomenon, but when more people are in the room, it happens more frequently! Thus, this tavern sees a healthy number of patrons on a regular basis, and does not charge cheap rates for tankards of their normal draft.   No one knows how it began - again, one of the mysteries of the former age - but the ale in the mug above is classically called the Timeless Tripel. It is claimed by some to be the work of the wonderous Shanballot himself! Others say that it was specially crafted by the Valar in the Age of Dichotomy for their own enjoyment, and some say that it is some cheap means of the owner of the establishment to further his wallet by spreading meaningless conspiracies that fill his house.

Annual Celebration

Every year, the Arcane District celebrates the Autumn Equinox festival around the Magic Mug Pub. It is one of the greatest celebrations the city has on an annual basis, and draws in one of the largest groupings for the festival!  

Equinox Oddities

In the Magic Mug Pub, 6 figures arrive at 8:00am exactly. They interact with the world, they engage with the people, and they celebrate. However, they suddenly experience excruciating deaths at exactly 1:00pm that afternoon. No one knows how or why. It is a strange occurrence.
