Frey (Fr-ay)

The solitary Island, off the shores of the dead.

Frey is an Island located just off the The Barren Land , thought to be uninhabited but owned by Aborlaten . It is a small island, only 100 Km wide and surrounded by the Alean Sea. From the very edge of the Barren wilds (If you dare to venture) you can see Frey off in the distance looking, mostly, unthreatening. Though despite its seemingly normal appearance, nobody dares visit the tropical shores.

History

When Barreto “Created” Alea  by opening the portal, the continent already laid before him, with inhabitants already all across the lands. He and his children slayed a great many of these creatures, now long extinct due to this bloody colonisation. The Island of Frey, however, for whatever reason, remained untouched by the Rin Daimon  who sieged the lands. There was a great dark energy that erupted from the sea as you sailed near, and this kept the island safe for centuries after. In 450 ATR Prince Ilkane was Banished to the Barren Land and it was rumoured he ventured to this island, and has not been seen since.   There are no known manmade structures, although this is based on what you can see from a boat, floating nearby or looking on from the distance of the mainland. The true contents of this island is completely unknown.

Geography

This small island is mostly forest, with thick Grinleaf trees not found on the mainland. The waters are dark towards the beaches of the island, indicating that they are extremely deep, as if the island is raised on a humungous cliff that protrudes from the ocean.
