Canine Lupus

Wolves are canine native to the major continent of Ethae. There are at least twenty-five know subspecies across the continent. They are highly adaptable animals with subspecies dwelling in every habitat of Ethae, from the glacial mountains of Novyum, to the grasslands of eastern Anbar, to the thick forest of Jerain.

These predators are pack hunters with a highly socialize community. Generally, these animals travel in a pack consisting of a mated pair as well as offspring. Some subspecies will form groups of five to twenty animals depending on food availability and regional dangers. These animals typically mate for life.

An adult wolf on average stands two to three feet tall at the shoulders, with a length of four to five feet. The size can vary greatly between subspecies. Their fur ranges in color between subspecies, but gray, black, brown, and white are the most common fur colors.
