Wild Sorcery

Channeler of Wild Magic

Wild sorcery is the rarest type of Sorcerer, largely due to the fact that most do not survive the early attempts at using Magic with no education. Wild sorcery comes from the untrained body, soul, and spirit. These are the sorcerers that ventures down the Way of Anon with no form of education. While there are some self-taught casters that can find a way to control their magic, most cannot. Those individuals that are self-taught find their unrefined casting can have strange results. Sometimes their casting misfires, creating unintended results. Other time magic intended to be precise, and control will explode into chaos. And yet another time, the magic might cast without a hitch. It is almost as if the Anon is playing tricks on the sorcerer.

Wild sorcery is used as an example of why education is so important for magic users. Untrained casting can cost lives, including the wielder. However, if a wild magic sorcerer can survive the early years of uncontrollable chaos, they can achieve great things. They learn how to use magic in ways professionals cannot. As they grow the paradigm shifts. Where the Anon was once a wild beast trying to maul and maim the wielder, it becomes an ally. The magic may not act as the caster intended, but the results may end up better. There is a reason some call these rare casters, 'luck sorcerers.'
