The Grand Catherdral, often called the Father Church by Trijan faithful is a cathedral in the city of Lakorth. It is considered the headquarters of the Northern Trijan Church. The cathedral and all the surrounding structures are hope of the Ponti of the faith and serves as the administrative heart of the religion. Just over eight hundred Cleric populate the Grand Cathedral and its environs.

The site of the Grand Cathedral has been in use as a holy site since as early as 4800sc. By early 5300sc the site, along with most of the city islands, had fallen into disrepair. Considered the slums of the city, with the wealthy nobles dwelling on the northern mainland of the city, the island slums were where the majority of the Trijan faithful dwelt. With the ratification of the Edict of Toleration by the Republic of Lakorth, in 5313sc, the faithful could worship openly. With a large population already dwelling there, the site that would be the future location of the Grand Cathedral grow as a religious center in the city. The modern cathedral that now sits on the site was built at the height of the United Kingdoms of Novyum, between 6500sc and 6625sc.

Many have pointed out the simple design of the Cathedral, especially compared to many of the other structures throughout the city of Lakorth. An architectural illusion that designers planned. The wanted it to show the grandeur of the Church, along with its humility. From a distance it size is deceptively small looking. As one nears the cathedral its true size becomes apparent. What seemed like standard windows from afar are realized to be as tall as five men. The entrance doors are large enough to allow Dragon to pass through. These doors large mechanical pully systems hidden within the structure to open and close. The structure is believed to go as deep below ground as it is tall above, though most do not have access to these levels.
