Wasatnuq (vah-SAT-nook, or wah-SAT-nook)
Wasatnuq, meaning "Middle Point" in Ancient Yasamaqi, is a village in Yasamaq situated at the end of Farraigetollan, and has passages to both Akmenstollan and Rodinatollan. It earned its name due to this particularly advantageous location and its roughly central position compared to the center of the continent.
Despite its fairly central position, few clans or families actually live in this village. It is mostly used as the last checkpoint between Mundegap and the rest of the continent; therefore, while it sees a lot of transit because of the various goods that must pass through to reach the rest of Yasamaq, it is very scarcely inhabited.
The people of Wasatnuq rely on the clerics of clan Clor to make sure that their water is drinkable.
Locations
- The Trader's Inn: The only inn in Wasatnuq, this establishment is kept clean but is small and has very few rooms. It has a selection of alcohols, both local and imported. Owned by an earth genasi named Clay.
- Clan Clor's Mansion: The biggest building in Wasatnuq, though it remains relatively small compared to the standards of Siarvald. It was the first building of the village, and everything else was built around it.
Notable people
- Braennis is the de facto 'leader' of Wasatnuq, as her clan originally settled here and put down the fundation for the village.
