The tritons and other merfolk that live beneath the sea worship a slew of gods, each one representing a different aspect of submarine life; fishes, corals, storms, tsunamis, waves, seafoam, and so on. Unbeknownst to many, they are also the only people that worship the Mist of Lost Souls as an entity; and only the most well-learned of scholars know that they pray to darker gods still...
