Protector-Saint

Protector-Saint is a title given to one of the Princes or Princesses. It is a very special title, as it governs over both religious and military matters in the Kingdom of Vah'kan. They make sure that no heresy takes place within its borders, that the religious customs are properly respected, and that the military is kept well trained and distributed to the Guardians who need it. Formerly, those responsibilities were held by Vah'dis himself. However, at the end of the Unification Wars, he believed that he should turn his attention towards international matters; thus, the role of Protector-Saint was created in order to handle such things without the King's direct intervention.
